12 - Fowler Porch

Thanks to our friends at Beacon Partners an unused patch of grass and crumbling brick wall next to the Bland Street Station is now a fun, urban porch along the Trail, inviting users to seesaw, or simply sit, relax and engage! Spearheaded & designed by local architect David Furman of Centro Cityworks and funded by Beacon Partners, owner’s of the adjacent Fowler Building.  Local steel artist, Ben Parrish of Steel Design Studios, built the bright yellow seesaw, sculptural screens and handrails.
