Rail Trail Lights ArtWalk

Celebrate Rail Trail Lights in South End with a guided artwalk led by ArtWalks CLT on Friday, February 9 at 6:00 pm. Visit artworks created for Rail Trail Lights, connect with community along the Rail Trail and be inspired hearing about the creative process from artists.

This one-hour artwalk begins at the Bland Street light rail station and follows the Rail Trail to end at Atherton Mill. Gather at 5:50 pm at the Urban Design Center. This event is free but please sign up let us know you are coming. On-street parking is available side streets. Light rail access is from the Bland or East/West Station. Paid parking is available in the parking deck on W. Worthington or at Atherton Mill. This event is sponsored by South End and US Bank.

Rail Trail Lights will celebrate local art with never-before-seen interactive light installations. Attendees can stroll down the Rail Trail enjoying one-of-a-kind art, with opportunities to take the perfect photo, grab a bite to eat, explore the South End neighborhood, and do it all again the next day. Rail Trail Lights will run from February 2-18.
